International Institute for Media and Information and Thomson Foundation, supported by the European Union, are happy to announce training events for TV and online journalists to make stories and video podcasts on IDP integration. The course is part of Regional Eye: Strengthening Conflict Sensitive Coverage in Ukraine’s Regional Media project implemented by a media consortium of five organizations with information support of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
Five-day production sessions scheduled for 18-22 April in Chernivtsi and for 25 – 29 April in Ivano-Frankivsk are organized so that by the end of the course each participant is going to have a timely and balanced story to be broadcast or published by their news organization.
Together with international trainers Deborah Kelly, Simon Hustings and David Hands (Thomson Foundation) and local IRMI experts the participants will do their search of story ideas, research and analyse, shoot and edit and finalise their packages.

A would be network of interregional media encompassing courses participants will serve as a platform and a bridge to cooperation with journalists from EU countries.

The organizers cover local transport during preparation and for interviews, photo and video sessions. Accommodation, travel (bus, 2nd class rail travel) and meals are also reimbursed.
