Institute for Regional Media and Information (IRMI) is an international training organization whose activity is centered on Media and Journalism, Public Communications and PR, Intercultural Communications and CSO Support.

For over 15 years IRMI has been working in the spheres of mass media, democratisation and reconciliation in Ukraine, the countries of Southwestern Europe and Caucasus.

Our mission is to promote qualified journalism through the implementation of basic professional and ethical principles, information access and by forming and structuring Ukraine’s professional environment.

The founders and experts of the organization have accumulated considerable experience in development and carrying out of training programs and internships and facilitation in the projects, supported by various international organizations: EU, UNESCO, CoE, the British Embassy in Ukraine, USAID, The Renaissance Foundation, Eurasia and others. IRMI is cooperating with European Journalism Centre, European Integration (Armenia), International Press Institute (IPI), IDIS Viitorul (Moldova), ICCN (Georgia), Inter-pares (UK), ISAR Ednannia (Ukraine), EU funded research project MeCoDEM (Media, conflict and democratisation), SEEMO, SECEPRO, Thomson Foundation, and others.

We pay special attention to deliver joint programs with our partners in EaP countries (Armenia, Georgia, Moldova) that allows our participants to learn from best practices and challenges of their colleagues from new democracies.
